Not too long ago it was considered only the rich and famous were wealthy enough to need to make Wills, set up Trust funds or need assistance with the execution of a Will.

Issues such as Inheritance Tax were also considered the preserve of the wealthy, but the value at which it now becomes payable is not as relatively high as it once was. Although it is still a large amount, an 'estate' can easily reach this figure when property, savings, pensions and other assets are taken into account.

There are of course a number of ways in which you can reduce the slice that the taxman would happily take if your affairs were not in order and we can help with planning to lessen this as much as possible.

Other issues that we can address are Deeds of Gifts, Living Wills, and legal options for the elderly with regard to nursing care and / or transfer of affairs or Power of Attorney.

We have put in this section information to give you a taster as to the issues which need tackling when considering the future of your estate.

  • Making a Will
  • Inheritance tax planning
  • Trusts
  • Deed of gifts
  • Enduring power of attorney
  • Planning Ahead – Long Term Care
  • Probate or administration of estates

Please do not hesitate to contact Mark Burn or Claire Trueman in complete confidence if you wish to discuss any matters relating to this area.
